Sensory Friendly Play at Urban Air Adventure Park

Urban Air Adventure Park in Franklin is hosting a special event on Sunday, August 3, from 9 am to 11 am. This is an excellent opportunity for children with sensory sensitivities to enjoy the park without the usual noise and lights. The facility will turn off all music and lighting effects, creating a more relaxed environment. Admission is $13.99 per person and includes access to all Deluxe attractions.

Cereal Cinema at Newfields

On Saturday, August 9, from 10 am to 12 pm, Newfields is offering a unique experience called Cereal Cinema. While not explicitly labeled as sensory-friendly, past attendees have praised this event for its welcoming atmosphere. Lights are kept on in the Tobais Theater, and captions are displayed during the movie. For $6, families can enjoy a breakfast cereal buffet while watching a classic film like Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey. After the movie, guests can explore the rest of the museum for free.

Sensory-Friendly Swim at The Waterpark

The Waterpark at the Monon Community Center in Carmel is hosting its final sensory-friendly swim event on Tuesday, August 12, from 5 pm to 7 pm.
