New Warthog aircraft on display at Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum
31001 Magnuson Ave. | 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 1-4 p.m. Sunday | The Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum announces the arrival of an iconic A-10A Thunderbolt II, famously known as the “Warthog.” The aircraft arrived last week. The A-10 Thunderbolt II is renowned for its rugged design and close air support capabilities. Having flown sixty-four missions during Operation Desert Storm, this aircraft has earned the respect and gratitude of many veterans who credit the Warthog with saving their lives. It is the only A-10 on display in the state.
Rocky Mountain Street Rod Nationals at Colorado State Fairgrounds

Street Rod Parade through Pueblo
Starts at Centennial High School, 2525 Mountview Dr. | 10 a.m. | The Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce-led parade will head east on 29th Street, north on North Elizabeth, west on First Street and south on Grand Avenue to Union Avenue. The street rods will then turn left onto Abriendo Avenue, right on Broadway Avenue, left of Berkley Avenue and then right on Summit Avenue before heading west to the Colorado State Fairgrounds, 1001 Beulah Ave.
BBQ and Cruise In at Senior Resource Development
230 N. Union Ave. | 4-10 p.m. | See the classic cars and enjoy pulled pork, chicken, sides and watermelon. Beer, wine and soft drinks will be sold, plus a DJ will be rocking the oldies. Proceeds benefit Meals on Wheels and other senior programs. Cost ranges from $15-$18 .
Final Friday Art Show at Pueblo Heritage Museum

Greenhorn Valley Days at Greenhorn Meadows Park in Colorado City
7184 State Highway 165 | 9 a.m.-4 p.m. with ribbon cutting at 1 p.m. | Help the Greenhorn community celebrate the unveiling of a $2 million revitalization of the park including a brand-new Little League baseball field, a paved walking trail, and modern restroom facilities. The revitalization effort was fully funded by grants and donations raised by anall-volunteer board composed of local parents passionate about creating a better place for families and future generations. The event will feature more than 50 local vendors, food trucks, a giant slip-and-slide, bounce house, and family-friendly fun. All are welcome to attend.

"United We Stand Tour" baseball game at Runyon Field
400 Stanton Ave. | 1 p.m. | Watch the U.S. Military WarDogs vs. Spradley Pueblo. Medal of Honor Recipient Drew Dix will throw out the first pitch in a full-circle moment. "The last time I threw a pitch at Runyon it was to catcher, Ray “Red” LeMaster II, back when we played for Centennial High School,” Dix said. The tour brings together a dedicated group of veterans and supporters from across the country who play to raise awareness and show solidarity for veterans dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
